I’m happy to report there is a lot going on now. Progress every day. We got through demo of the old bathroom and the construction of the new shower wall. This week has been focused on getting the new plumbing in. Progress shots below.

It’s thrilling to see the vision start to come to life and reassuring to see that the concept works!

I haven’t shared much about the materials I’ve chosen and I’m glad I didn’t because this week I CHANGED MY MIND on all of the tile I’d selected (and paid for, and already received). The materials I chose weren’t sitting well with me. I can’t put my finger on why, but I was waking up in the middle of the night thinking about it. I’ve learned to trust my gut on these things so I started fresh and now I’m so much happier with the direction I’m going in.

You might notice that I am going with a very similar color scheme to my kitchen. It works and I love it, so I wanted to keep the flow going through the house.

Below is the actual slab for the vanity tops- Antique Calacatta Viola. Next week I’ll work with the fabricator to template it and get it installed SOON!
